Finding Time No Matter What!

Ok here's the deal: so you know how im SO busy? Well that doesn't stop me!!

Believe me, if I have wanted to have ANY extra fun or do ANY other things i love to do...i'll figure out a way to do them! For example, I put the first Harry Potter book on my ipod and grabbed my itrip and have actually had the opportunity to do something i love which is reading Harry Potter! I just finished the first book and am in the middle of the second book but it sure gets me excited to get in my car and drive between all my activities.

Also, last night was the Sweethearts Dance. I took Nick Taylor who has been a good friend of mine for a couple of years. It was a BLAST! He was such a gentleman and made it a special night. He also taught me a little ballroom (he is on the Extreme Ballroom team) and even though he said I was doing a good job i'm pretty sure he was just being nice :)

For our daydate we went to Kaylee Foster's house and decorated cakes. But after Nick and I had started decorating, it didn't turn out looking too appetizing. So when i told Nick we were eating this cake for dessert after the dance we decided we better make it look yummy. So we put another layer of frosting on the top and started over. It was supposed to end up looking like a peace sign but turned out to look like a chicken foot/marajiana plant/chicken plant so i guess we didn't do any better...but at least it tasted GOOD!

Anyway so after the daydate i went to Carlisle Beauty and got my hair done and then went back home and got ready and then picked up Nick! We didn't do pictures at the school but had a photographer Kaylee knew do them at a barn. They turned out super cute and i can't wait until we can order them! For our group picture, one of the poses we did was all of the couples stood along a fence in the barn and the photographer told all the girls to give their dates a kiss on the cheek and even with me in heels and on my tip toes i couldn't even reach Nick's cheek to kiss it and so in the picture i'm sure i look like a fool reaching for his cheek. Haha and then the photographer made us hold it for a while so she would work with the lighting and so i was just standing there awkwardly trying to reach for Nick's cheek...haha wow i'll always remember that! Then for dinner we went to Carinos Italian Grill and that took a while and we didn't get to the dance until like 9:30 pm. But after we danced for two hours we went up to Kaylee's house for the cakes and then i took Nick home. Oh and this is the funny part: Nick has steps up to his house and i made him stand on a step lower than mine so i could be tall enough to hug him properly..haha it was really funny!
