I love having much more time to do my homework and to sometimes just waste time :) haha gotta love it!
Today i didn't do any homework :/ haha...instead i basically spent the day in the kitchen. Yesterday night i watched Julie and Julia and looked through Julia Child's cookbook that i got for my birthday last year and i decided i wanted to make the good-looking chocolate almond cake. So after making fruit salsa i got down to work and starting baking :)
The cake was a huge success! Except for the fact that i baked it in a 10 inch pan instead of an 8 inch pan so it's a little thin but it looks and tastes great!
i filled out an application for Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt so hopefully i'll get the job so i can have something to do besides school and tennis and also so i can have a job during the summer. So if i don't get that job i'm thinking to maybe apply at Great Harvest...i'd like that job too. :)
So Whit gets her 3rd surgery this coming monday...just like i got my 3rd surgery for my leg...guess we have more things in common than i thought :) I am really positive about this time and hope and pray things go well!!
thanks camille you're the best. It's pretty sad that we (and not the boys) have been the ones to have so many surgeries!! Guess it just goes to show you and I can handle practically anything huh.
